The Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN) was founded in 1995 with the purpose of advocating for, representing, networking with, and providing member services to the nation’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the defence and security sectors.
In order to assist state-based chapters in expanding business opportunities with the Department of Defence and Defence prime contractors, as well as initiatives that enhance management skills and expertise, AIDN does its best to maintains a regular dialogue with the Federal Government, CASG, ODIS, Policy Division, and other national organisations in the Defence industry sector. This is done in order to assist state-based chapters in expanding their management skills and expertise.
AIDN ACT is dedicated to serving the interests of AIDN’s defence industry and providing it with a collective voice. This commitment was made when the organisation was established.
AIDN ACT is supported by annual membership fees and acts in the interests of AIDN Members and the industry as a whole.
