Australian Redback infantry fighting vehicles are anticipated to feature the latest generation of optic and warning systems, according to Elbit Systems.
The Israel-based international defence electronics company has put forward advanced Redback turret equipment for an anticipated contract between Hanwha and Elbit Systems, after Hanwha Defense Australia was announced as the preferred tenderer for the Australian Land 400 Phase 3 project.
That equipment would include Commander Open Architecture Panoramic Sight gunner sight, additional electro-optic systems, Iron Fist active protection system, Iron-Vision advanced situational awareness head-mounted display system, and ELAWS laser warning system; dependent upon completion of negotiations between both parties.
