The Australian Industry & Defence Network ACT Committee is pleased to announce the AIDN ACT Young Achiever of the year Award event for 2023.

This is a great opportunity network, meet the upcoming contributors to Defence Industry and to hear from a panel of invited Defence ministerial representatives, senior executives and leaders across Defence, Defence Industry and academia.

The panel will provide an opportunity for fellow members to engage and hear insights from a broad cross-section of Defence Industry and senior executives and discuss the needs of the Defence Industry Workforce. The Panel will include:

• Major General Cheryl Pearce Deputy Chief of Army, Department of Defence
• Mr David French – Management Consulting Principal Director, Global Defence Operations Lead & People Capacity, Accenture
• Mr Mat Jones – Head of Future Business, Defence Delivery, BAE Systems

Driven and talented young people are the key to the future of the defence support industry. Since 2008, AIDN has conducted the Young Achiever Award (YAA) to recognise individuals who may be future industry leaders.
