AIDN NSW: Toll Aviation and The ACE Training Centre Helicopter Base Tour

Toll Aviation is an experienced provider of specialised operations and training to support Government, Defence and the civil sector.

Since 2017, Toll Helicopters, part of Toll Aviation, has operated the Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter Service on behalf of NSW Ambulance and the ACT Ambulance Service. With a fleet of 8 AW139’s across 4 bases, the service is tasked to over 3000 missions a year, providing critical care to the communities of NSW and ACT.

The largest aeromedical helicopter capability in the Southern Hemisphere is supported by a world class aviation training centre, The ACE Training Centre. Located at Bankstown, this houses an OEM Level D AW139 Full Flight Simulator and Helicopter Underwater Escape Training facility.

Toll Aviation also supports Defence aviation operations for the Army Aviation Training Centre, the 1st and 5th Aviation Regiments ad recently acquired a leading Australian UAS flight operations and training provider, whose capabilities combined with Toll’s existing aviation business, will deliver both standalone and integrated rotary and uncrewed operations and training.
