Brisbane City Council is committed to supporting Brisbane’s businesses to continue to grow in both domestic and international markets. As part of this commitment, Council is providing Brisbane-based businesses the opportunity to host a multicultural or international university student in a four-week, paid internship program subsidised by Council.

Expressions of interest are now open. Brisbane businesses from a wide range of industry sectors are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to aviation, digital and technology, education and training, health and aged care, media, professional services, tourism and hospitality, and trade and investment development.

Please note this opportunity is for businesses located within the Brisbane City Council Local Government Area (LGA).

Internship dates

The four-week internships will take place in Brisbane from 1 to 26 April 2024.
