AllAustralian Defence Apparel has confirmed that the company is expanding its current Defence Industry Security Program membership to its Bendigo factory.
Australia’s largest provider of uniforms and equipment to the Australian Defence Force and emergency services personnel, Australian Defence Apparel, has confirmed that the company is expanding DISP membership to its Bendigo factory.
According to the company, upon expansion, ADA will be the nation’s only uniform manufacturer with DISP membership and the only uniform provider in Australia with a DISP-certified factory.
Membership in the program covers four levels: governance, personnel, physical and cyber security, and ensured enhanced Defence supply chain security. ADA holds membership across all levels.
Ensuring the company achieves DISP membership is essential for protecting Australia’s defence supply chain, David Connors, chief technology officer and chief information security officer of ADA, said.
