Invictus games Dusseldorf 2023: Uniform Launch

The sixth Invictus Games will be held from 09 to 16 September 2023, in Düsseldorf, Germany. The Australian Defence Force and Invictus Australia have partnered to support 31 Australian competitors. The Invictus Games is an international adaptive sporting event for serving and former serving military personnel who have been wounded, injured or become ill during their military service. Up to 500 competitors from 21 nations will compete in 10 adaptive sports. Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, is the Patron of the Invictus Games. The Games use the healing power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and celebrate the crucial role played by family and friends.

The official uniform to be worn by Team Australia at Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 will be revealed as part of the final training camp in Sydney.

The uniform will include the ceremonial tracksuit as well as competition wear for the various sports.

The uniform will be modelled by Commander Ryan Kelly (archery), Ainsley Hooker (athletics), Brad Mazzaferri (cycling), Shaun Hillman (indoor rowing), Erin Brigden (powerlifting), Francine Dudfield (sitting volleyball), Karl Woodward (swimming),

Stephen Lockwood (table tennis) and Lenny Redrose (wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby).

Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 will be held from 9 to 16 September. The combined Australian contingent of 31 serving and former serving Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel and over 80 of their family and friends is supported by the ADF and Invictus Australia.

Invictus Games is an international adaptive sporting event for serving and former serving military personnel who have become wounded, injured and ill during their military service. Team Australia will join 500 competitors from 22 nations to compete in 10 individual and team adaptive sporting events.
