The Australian Government is taking incremental steps in the 2024–25 Budget towards larger scale reform of the employment services system. The Government has made a commitment to implement an Australian Public Service (APS) delivered paid employment pathway package supporting real jobs and real wages.

The Real Jobs, Real Wages pilot – provides tapered payments to employers to fund real wages for job placements for individuals with more barriers to work. The pilot will commence 1 July 2025 and be delivered over two years to 30 June 2027.

The Department of Employment & Workplace Relations is inviting you join us to co-design the Real Jobs Real Wages pilot. The session will be held online.
