Following the release of the Digital Engineering Strategy 2024 on 1 August 2024, and in line with Defence Industry Development Strategy and National Defence Strategy, Department of Defence wishes to consult and collaborate with industry partners in shaping and developing the Defence Digital Engineering Strategy Implementation Plan and Roadmap.

Through the strategic and collaborative engagement with industry, Defence is aiming to enhance industry partnership and deliver an innovative, resilient and competitive defence industrial base that creates a stronger and more secure Australia. By way of commencing the engagement, we invite Defence Industry partners with an interest in engineering or digital engineering to contribute to the survey referenced below. This will provide an opportunity to capture industry feedback on digital engineering and obtain insights into the current and proposed future digital engineering trends, best practices and methodologies. Your perspective will be incorporated in the development of the Digital Engineering Implementation Plan.
