The Australian Submarine Supplier Qualification (AUSSQ) program accelerates the integration of Australian companies into U.S. and UK nuclear-powered submarine supply chains under AUKUS. As part of Australia’s Submarine Industry Strategy, it provides a structured pathway for supplier validation, supplier qualification, and product qualification, enabling entry into the HII Newport News Shipbuilding and Babcock UK supply chains. Operating through a direct business-to-business model and complementing the Defence Industry Vendor Qualification Program, AUSSQ is building a globally integrated supply chain while strengthening Australia’s sovereign submarine industrial capability and long-term defence readiness.

This event will provide Australian industry with practical insights into qualification pathways, requirements, and expectations, and highlight opportunities to engage directly with the program—supporting businesses to position for participation and long-term growth in the AUKUS submarine enterprise.
