Why you should participate
With a tech economy worth $1tn, the UK is a world-leading hub for tech start-up and scaleup activity.
The UK Government aspires to maintain its global top three position in quantum and appeals to international businesses looking to expand outwards. The UK is second for the number of quantum companies and generates 12% of global private investment. Market specialisations span across computing, communications, sensing, timing, and imaging.
In 2023, the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) adopted a Quantum strategy that builds up on a decade of previous activity. In July 2024 it released the next round of £106 million of government funding thus confirming its commitment to advancing the industry. The project will establish five quantum research hubs aiming to bring together academia and industry in developing a range of practical applications across a variety of sectors: healthcare, security and clean energy.
When you participate, you’ll get:
- Firsthand in-market advice and support with your UK market entry or expansion strategy.
- Access to and opportunity to connect with key industry contacts and leaders during the UK In-Market Program.
- Opportunity to promote your products and services to interested UK and international partners and customers.
- Opportunity to pitch your product to UK buyers.
